Learning to eFoil: The Next Chapter of Luna Moon
So… eFoiling.
The newest adventure in the Luna Moon world.
I’m still learning. Still figuring out the balance, the lift, the speed… and yes, there have been plenty of moments where the water wins. But this is exactly why I wanted to do it.
There’s a unique kind of humility in those first tries — the way the board hums beneath you, how the foil pulls you up and suddenly you’re gliding just above the surface, disconnected from chop and ordinary resistance. Then you lose it, and the water reminds you who’s boss. You get up, you laugh, you adjust. Repeat.
What keeps me coming back:
The feeling of flight: brief, surprising, and exhilarating.
Instant feedback: every shift of weight matters, every tweak changes everything.
A new perspective on familiar waters — they feel faster, closer, somehow more alive.
The learning curve: frustrating and addictive in equal measure.
